You need to configure Windows or your drivers to span the display across multiple monitors so that the game just sees one wide display. Thanks for the info folks. Probably wont have split screen they have never had that best I can say is make him a steam account and get him the game then off both you go into the sunset on the back forty. Just get another pc, steam account and game copy. a cheaper option would be if you own an xbox with pamepass you can play together with cross play.
