Cross play in ESO would be a nightmare for pvp!!! I don’t pvp tho!! For overland and dungeon I could see it working! The art style that I seen in videos seemed ok. I seen lots of flashy animations. Either multi classing or a class change token would be nice. Knowing ZOS if it came down to it, it would be a class change token for 5k crowns ;)
In 2023, Elder Scrolls Online still does not support cross-platform play. This limitation affects players’ collaborations on devices, including PCs, Macs, gaming consoles, and even mobile devices. Despite the ongoing advancements in gaming and many other titles embracing cross-platform play, ESO remains an exception.
Releasing on March 12 for PC, and March 28 for Xbox and PlayStation, the first event to arrive in Elder Scrolls Online is the Scribes of Fate DLC. The new content will contain two new dungeons
2. As a console user who hasn't played the PC version, I don't feel like I'm missing anything without add-ons. Recent base game changes have also improved bringing in features previously supported by add-ons. 4. Console ESO actually has built-in voice support so that's a plus on the socialising front.
Elder Scrolls Online is indeed an MMO that holds its own. Just look at its stream charts, averaging at over 16,000 players per hour. It will probably be within the region (NA/NA and EU/EU) and will probably have some lag, but it can happen if they want to spend the money. I doubt it will happen before then. I never expect to see any crossplay with Playstation. ESO will probably have Commodore 64 crossplay first. On PC the game is plenty busy.
